The story of an ALIEN being from another human race in our galaxy whose space craft had crashed into the Pacific Ocean.  She is the sole survivor and miraculously had washed up on the shore of a remote island in the South Pacific.

Being very afraid of the primitive humans on planet Earth she uses her extraordinary telepathic powers to contact another space craft that is near Earth orbit to come and rescue her and take her back to her home planet in the constellation of the Pleiades.

However, she discovers that not all her conflicts are external and that she must also master  inner conflicts and negative feelings that reside deep within her being before she can truly find the freedom she seeks.

'69' is a 'flashback' ... a dream about 'freedom' ... it marks a dramatic departure from the romantic themes of previous 'fOtOfilms' ... it's a bitter-sweet visual poem full of abstract symbolism ... as a young woman's dream of life during that turbulent time of 1969 are revealed ... a time when the western world was immersed in an emotional struggle of peace, love, sex, drugs, rock 'n roll, racism, Nixon and the Vietnam war ... a generational clash when revolution was heavy in the air ... the biggest anti-war demonstrations in US history were held on the Washington Mall in 1969  !!!

A passionate story of young girl's dream about the arrival of the 'HMS Dolphin', the first European ship to arrive in Tahiti in 1767, when the island was claimed by Captain Samuel Wallace and named 'King George's Island' in honor of King George III of Great Britain and Ireland who was the reigning monarch of the time. This is the seventh story in a series of 'fOtOfilms' - emotional 'Dreamscapes' photographed on the dramatic black sands of Tahiti during April 2009. 'A'AIA' is the the Tahitian name for a 'white bird' (tern) which has a an important significance in the ancient Ma'ohi culture as this bird that represents the presence of the 'MANA' ... the all powerful life force highly revered throughout Polynesia ... whilst taking these photographs of Eyanne on the beach in Tahiti, two of these white birds appeared above our heads and circled for several minutes looking down at us ... it was a very good omen for us ... hence the name of this bird became the name of the film. Body painting is primarily associated with Easter Island, the islands of New Guinea and Australia but was not practised in Tahiti ... however as 'A'AIA' is a surreal dream ... artistic license permits it's use here.

'Rapa Nui' is the authentic name for 'Easter Island' where these photographs were created in one of the most sacred underground lava caves on the island. In ancient times the noble people would paint their bodies with different colored earth which is found in the cliffs on one beach on the island. Cara was painted with this earth in the traditional manner by one of the island's leading artists Mokomae Tatoo who has the knowledge of the authentic traditions. 'Rapa Nui' is a magical place with an astounding history which is not fully understood even to this day although supposedly was originally inhabited by red haired Caucasians from South America who were joined later by Polynesians from the Marquesas. The Caucasians were the Chiefs (Bird People) hence the reason the enormous statues the 'Moai' have red disks on their heads, representing the way they wrapped their red hair in those ancient times. This is the second in a series of 'fOtOfilms' - emotional 'Dreamscapes' photographed on Easter Island during 2008. We would be honored to have you as one of our group members.
